Peaceable Life Therapeutic Services is an independent consultation practice specializing in positive behavioral support services for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Virginia.
Positive Behavior Support Facilitators associated with the practice are endorsed by VCU and Partnership for People with Disabilities.
PBS Services are individualized and comprehensive assessment, planning and interventions designed to address challenging behaviors which are interfering in the focus person's ability to experience a high quality of life.
PBS services are funded through the Medicaid Waiver or other community funding sources but can also be private pay.

Peaceable Life Therapeutic Services also provides professional counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, and families wishing to have professional insight and counsel as they face various difficulties, changes, and life stages.
Each therapist is licensed through the state or is in residency under an approved licensed supervisor. Therapists utilize effective strategies and modalities to address the needs of each therapy participant, including, but not limited to, individual therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, Theraplay, and Family Systems Therapy.
